Jonathan Tamir

I have worked at the intersection of healthcare and business since 1990.  Having begun my career on Wall Street, I have a business orientation that I have applied throughout my healthcare management career. This orientation guides my focus on enhanced efficiency, understanding a practice’s profit drivers, and creating actionable financial reporting that leads to a higher bottom line.

I have held senior leadership positions in private medical groups, hospitals, and medical schools. My areas of responsibility have included strategic planning and business development, HR and organizational dynamics, IT, revenue cycle/billing, finance, board relations, and clinical operations.

It is exciting to achieve exceptional results when collaborating with clinical leaders to streamline operations, improve employee and patient engagement, and create actionable financial reports. Developing actionable financial reports allows clinicians to chart the strategic direction of their practice knowledgeably and in alignment with their practice philosophies. I provide clinicians with the business insights they need to drive success—without the stress of managing it themselves.

My background includes a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from Wharton, and an MPH from Columbia’s Mailman School. I am a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

At the core of my work is ensuring that the business side of the practice runs smoothly and efficiently, allowing clinicians to focus on providing exceptional care.
